Today is Day 11, and we left Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at 9:30 a.m. to head to New York. You can see our route by clicking here http://pathtracks.com/users/27788/paths/117170. Keep in mind this is the actual route I took. Click hybrid on left corner to get a better view. Pennsylvania had lots of mountains and hills. We drove through 3 hours of mountains and hills. The drive was good to NY because of the hills we went through.
After driving through Pennsylvania my main concern was the traffic going into NY from New Jersey. To my surprise the traffic was fine even though the freeway was congested.
*Note: New Jersey is considered the "Garden State"
When I arrived to NY, it felt like it was home. My first stop was to go straight to the Apple Store on 5Th Avenue, because I had to get the iPhone 4. The Apple Store was beautiful! They employ hundreds of workers, and its the only 24 hour Apple store. Definitely a must see!!!
After leaving the Apple Store, I felt the hot and humid weather of NY, and my light bulb in my head turned on and I had to get some Carvel ice cream. It was delicious!!
