Today is Day 19, and we are going around Washington D.C., and Georgetown! We got the two day pass for the tour guide that takes you all over the metropolitan area. One of my memorable stops was at Georgetown, which resembles a small village right next to Washington D.C., and as I was walking down "M" street waiting for our tour bus, I noticed that John Wall who is the #1 draft pick for the NBA 2010 season just walk into a restaurant. I went up to him, and talked to him real quick, and then took a picture of him. After that we went to the Arlington National Cemetery, Union Station, U.S.Capitol Hill, White House, National Cathedral, Washington Monument, and Georgetown. I'm glad that today I was wearing my running shoes because we did a lot of walking in the hot and humid weather. It rained on and off the entire day. The temperature was 90, humidity was over 80%. National Cathedral is where Martin Luther King Jr would speak very often. If you decide to visit D.C. you must go visit the International Spy Museum. Cameras were not allowed but it was amazing how much I learned.
If you haven't had Red Velvet Cupcakes, you should! They are absolutely delicious. They melt in your mouth as soon as you eat it. It reminds me of Sprinkles Cupcakes in Beverly Hills. Both are Delicious!!
They have tours available that can take you to the top. If we had enough time, I would have went to the top. However, my family members recommended to reserve the tickets in advance.
