Today is Day 9, we took the subway into Chicago to get the entire experience. The subway system is convenient, and reminds me of the New York transportation system. The water you see is the largest lake in the country called . Lake Michigan Its amazing how big the lake is. It stretches out, and touches 4 states. I always thought downtown would be the old 42nd street of New York. It is the opposite. Chicago is a beautiful city with a lot of history.
As you will see, we went to the Willis Tower, which is formerly known as the "Sears Tower". It is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. Its sky deck is visited by millions of tourist every year. I took several pictures from all possible angles. You can see the beautiful city very well under perfect weather. You can see as far as 50 miles on a clear day such as ours (including 4 states). This place is a must see!!! The sky deck height (where we were at ) is 1,353 feet. Roof height is 1,450 feet and antenna height is 1,730 ft. From the south you can see the neighboring state of Indiana! To the east you get to see the beautiful Lake Michigan. To the north you can see Wisconsin, Chicago River and Wrigley Field! To the west you can see Chicago O'Hare airport, and Oprah's Harpo Studio.
In the Alder Planetarium we saw a 3D showing of a show called "The Black Hole".
We took a Double Decker Tour in Chicago which is highly recommended. It will take you to the best places in Chicago. The best thing about the tour is you can hop on, and off anytime. Our tour guide was very helpful, and had a great sense of humor. This trip has been a very informative one. I highly recommend visiting this city. I had one of their hot dogs at a very small stand by the Alder Planetarium, and found out later it was the most popular place to get a hot dog in all of Chicago. It was really satisfying and delicious!
Of course I had to try their "famous pizza". Being in Chicago and not having their pizza is not what I planned on doing. But wished I had not tried it. The tour guide informed us UNO Pizzeria and Ginos were the most delicious pizzeria's in Chicago. He said that UNO Pizzeria is the Founder of the "DEEP DISH" style. So we took his advise, and went ahead to UNO Pizzeria which was in Downtown Chicago. It was so packed in there that the line was out the door, and the wait time was about an hour. We finally got seated and ordered our food, and when I tasted the pizza I nearly barfed. I am not kidding you, the pizza was disgusting. The bottom crust of the pizza was like a cookie dough. It was gross. The sauce was on top of the cheese and I’m here as a witness to tell you the pizza was not up to par for its so-called reputation. California pizza which is not really known for their pizza was 10 times better than there pizza. NY pizza is the best and nothing comes close to it.
At night, after my traumatic experience with the “deep dish pizza,” I went ahead, and had the best fast food ever. White Castle!!!!!!!!!!!! Yummyyyyy. You cant ever go wrong with a Slider!!!!!!!!! (Obsessed? Yeah just a little bit!)

During prohibition, since they didn't allow alcohol: Al Capone and others decided to get a little smart and designed this building into a champagne bottle. This was one way to get back at the government!
