Today is Day 13, my FAVORITE baseball team is the NY Yankees. It was a great experience to be apart of the new stadium. This game was the day before Fourth of July. The game was so packed that it was nearly sold out. The stadium is really nice, and they designed it different compared to the other stadiums I’ve seen. They have many posters, memorabilia statues and pictures of all the Yankee legends. The amazing part is that there is a museum for Yankee fans inside the stadium! I've never seen any stadium display their trophies to fans. That really made this stadium stand out, and makes it the best stadium I have seen thus far.
The old Yankee Stadium had a lot of great legends who played there, therefore the history is unmatched. However, the way they designed the new stadium they made sure the history is carried over, and it will never be forgotten. That is what makes this stadium the best in the Majors.
Over the years, I've heard it all. People say Yankees buy their championship because of their high payroll. If that is true why do the Red Sox only have 7 championship rings and Yankees have 27? The Red Sox payroll is nearly identical. Can we explain that? There are many more teams in the Major Leagues who have high payrolls such as the New York Mets, Anaheim Angels, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago White Sox and where are they today? How many rings do they have? The feeling I got being in Yankee stadium was so different that as a fan you get the "chills.”
Below are two video clips taken from inside Yankees Stadium, and its about a minute each. I hope you enjoy it. Once again Yankees Stadium really stands out because of the way they designed it, and the fact that they have many things to do. I recommend when visiting, you go three hours before the game to see the entire stadium!
We had the best gyros in all of NY in Manhattan. It was delicious!

Love this stadium...you can feel the history there. And Derek Jeter is the best player...just wanted to add that in ;-)
